RemailGo Privacy Policy

01Scope

This policy applies to all services provided by RemailGo (remailgo.com), including the no-sign-up temp mail feature and the forwarding alias feature that uses email verification to log in. By using either feature, you acknowledge the data practices described here.

RemailGo is a receive-only privacy tool. A product built to protect inbox privacy should practice restraint in how it handles data—that is the baseline we hold ourselves to.

02Data we collect

We process only the following categories, grouped by feature:

• Temp mail: the generated disposable address, an access token (a random string), and mail delivered to that address (sender, subject, body). Messages whose body plus attachments exceed 100MB are rejected outright, and attachment content is never stored. Creating a temp inbox requires no personal information.
• Forwarding aliases: the real email address you use to log in, the aliases you create and their active/paused state, mail received by each alias and its delivery status (forwarded, blocked as spam, failed, or pending), and two-factor authentication binding data if enabled.
• Technical data: request IP addresses and rate-limit counters recorded to prevent abuse, plus error logs needed to keep the service running. We do not build visitor profiles or track you across sites.

03Retention periods

Time-limited storage is core to how RemailGo works. The table below lists how long each data type is kept. When a period ends, the system deletes the data automatically—you do not need to request it:

04How we use data

We process the data above for three purposes only:

• Deliver the service: route mail to your temp inbox, forward alias mail to your real address, and show archived messages in the console.
• Security and abuse prevention: score incoming mail for spam, rate-limit excessive requests by IP, and verify login identity.
• Respond to you: when you email support@remailgo.com, we use the information you provide to reply and resolve your issue.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or model training.

05What we never do

• Sell, rent, or trade any of your data;
• Run ads on the site or join ad networks;
• Load third-party analytics, tracking, or social scripts—all site resources are self-hosted;
• Manually read your mail—messages are handled only by automated processes (delivery, spam scoring, forwarding);
• Ask for a phone number, legal name, or any identity detail unrelated to the service.

Legal exceptions: if we receive a valid compulsory request from a competent authority, we may need to disclose data still within the retention windows above. Because most data has a short shelf life, much of it will already be gone by the time such a request arrives.

06Cookies and browser local storage

We do not use tracking cookies. We store three functional items in your browser's localStorage:

• Language preference: remembers your chosen language for the next visit;
• Temp mail credential: lets you recover the same inbox after a refresh or return visit;
• Login token: keeps the forwarding console signed in (up to 7 days).

These values live on your device. Clearing browser data removes them all. Once the temp mail credential is gone, that inbox cannot be recovered.

07Security

We protect data with HTTPS everywhere; one-time email codes instead of passwords for login; optional TOTP two-factor authentication for the console; and strict server access controls.

No internet service can promise absolute security. Temp inbox credentials appear in the page URL—anyone with the link can read that inbox. Do not share credential links with people you do not trust.

08Your rights

You can exercise the following controls directly in the product, without contacting us:

• Delete individual temp messages or rotate to a new address (the old inbox is voided immediately);
• Delete aliases, pause forwarding, delete archive messages, or clear the entire archive;
• Sign out, or enable/disable two-factor authentication.

To delete your account entirely (including your real email record and all aliases), email support@remailgo.com from the address you registered with. We will verify ownership, complete deletion, and confirm by reply.

09Minors

RemailGo is intended for general internet users and is not directed at children under 16. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information without guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.

10Policy changes

We may update this policy as features evolve. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Material changes to how we handle data will be highlighted on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
